Tamsin is a supreme baker too - her rose and pistachio cake is our favourite - and can create the whole wedding breakfast right down to a vintage themed CD. Blue Fizz Events, Devon


Love Blue Fizz Events who supply traditional cream canvas tents with wooden poles, hemp guy ropes and those beautiful scalloped valances. Her wedding bouquets and floral head-dresses are truly head-turning, so good in fact, the guests may pinch them (see left). She's the hip wedding florist of choice so book early.        



Bread & Flowers, Wiltshire breadmussels


For a knock-out wedding feast that will impress the most serious foodie, call in Bread & Flowers. Chef Martin Simcock is a perfectionist, an experimentalist and a serious food-head himself and he creates sensational dishes. He favours full bodied, robust and relaxed food with Spanish, Middle Eastern and North African influences with very local produce such as New Forest wild mushrooms or Poole Bay clams. It's a highly organised, stylish outfit and smaller weddings can even be held at the gorgeous farmhouse premises and adjacent barn (handily the premises of a wedding photographer). Their mantra 'boutique catering for sustenance, celebration and sheer delight' says it all.      







Utterly Sexy Cafe, Wiltshire

We've said it before and we'll say it again - for an exquisitely delicious yet unusual wedding cake that it also a work of art, it has to be Amanda Baird from Utterly Sexy Cafe. Move over fruit cake, instead cardamom and Earl Grey with orange flower water butter cream. Or perhaps tangy lemon sponge with lemon and butter cream? Fantastical, wow-factor decorations are order of the day and you can hire their exquisite vintage china and glass too.

May we recommend a fantasy photo booth to entertain your guests? Sophie Goddard Jones and Kim Von Coels provide props from their gargantuan vintage collection as well as make up, face painting and styling if required.
