Emily Eavis, born and bred Somerset girl and now organiser of the world-famous Glastonbury Festival with her father Michael, tells Country Calling how she would spend a lost weekend in the West Country.

I would go to The Quantocks for gorgeous walks and the Somerset Levels for birdwatching. You can spot some of the rarest birds in Britain here. Then I'd go to Mudgely Cider Farm (Wilkins Cider Farm in Mudgely where you can sample award winning cider straight out of the barrels and delicious unpasteurised cheddar) which has to be one of the best places to have an afternoon cider on a warm summer's day.
