Psychologist turned florist, Grace Alexander needed nature and dogs as

respite to her tough day job and found a new career in the process. Grace's
passion for British flowers led to her filling a third of a Somerset acre
with peonies, David Austin roses and more tulips, she says, than is strictly
necessary. She grows blushes, apricots, creams and rust coloured flowers
because they are the flowers she loves. 'I am a grower of happiness,' she
says as she shares her flowers at farmers markets, events and weddings she
is constantly booked for. She is also a brilliant forager of other people's
foliage having recently run a series of festive wreath making and table
decoration workshops at Forde Abbey.

Grace's attitude to life and love gives a 21st century uniqueness to her wedding flowers.  No run of the mill bridal bouquets here.
"I love doing weddings. I love the specialness. I love the oversized urns, slightly mad asymmeticral bouquets with trailing silk ribbons, the buttonholes, the tears, the small children in very clean outfits for the occasion. And arches. I love arches.'
She also offers a buckets and bouquets service for brides who want to arrange their own flowers. No minium spend just a bucket full of flowers in your chosen colours. A great idea for cost saving though check out the bride's flowers above. We can safely say most people opt for the magic touch.
