Loving the Magic Circuit Bus Tour, a brilliant new inititiative from Tate St Ives which connects young people with respected working artists in Cornwall.
Aimed at 15-25 year olds, the scheme offers places on a retro 1958 Duple bus which will then drive its art-loving passengers around various locations, including a studio stint with a Tate artist and a Tate workshop at Porthmeor Studios and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.
The first tour included a visit to Kestle Barton at Helston an ancient farmstead which was saved from falling into disrepair and turned into an exhibition space and artists studios. Once there participants had the chance to work with award winning print maker Naomi Frears and poet Ella Frears.
